These new Cascadian Farm cereals have been announced by the brand as part of its initiative to accelerate the cultivation of the Kernza grain.
The cereals make use of the Kernza grain, which is a perennial that will offer impressive harvests without the need to be replanted and boasts deep roots that can stretch 10-feet into the ground. This positions the crop as being great for sequestering carbon, improving soil health, enhancing water quality and more.
The Cascadian Farm cereals contain 1% Kernza and come in four fairies including Honey Oat Crunch, Honey Oat Crunch with Almonds, Hearty Morning Fiber and Raisin Bran. The cereals are available now for shoppers to pick up at Whole Foods and Sprouts locations.
