Co-Funded Canned Tomatoes Campaigns

The EU Funds the RED GOLD FROM EUROPE Campaign

ANICAV — also known as The Italian Association of Canned Vegetables Industries — is running a marketing campaign funded by the European Union called RED GOLD FROM EUROPE. The program aims to highlight the perceived superior attributes of canned tomato products originating from Europe, with a particular emphasis on Italian production. The target demographic is Bahrain, an island country in West Asia, that "increased its import of preserved tomatoes from the European Union from 1,65 million EUR (2023) to 1,95 million EUR."

The RED GOLD FROM EUROPE campaign focuses on four core messaging pillars — stringent quality and safety protocols mandated by EU regulations, environmental sustainability practices within the production chain, the culinary flexibility of the product, and its established nutritional value.
