The primary objective of this collaboration is to address the lack of reliable internet connectivity in rural farming areas, which has been a barrier to the adoption of digital agricultural technologies. The access to such continuous data is expected to enable more precise management of resources such as water and fertilizer.
The planned network is intended to support a variety of sensor-based devices that collect real-time data from the field. The first phase of the project involved launching educational programs, which ran throughout the summer of 2025. These assisted farmers in integrating these smart farming solutions into their operations.
