Faux Foliage

As urban hubs become tree-less, designers use arboreal form as design inspiration

Implications - Cities are not only seeing a decrease in foliage, but an inability to replace lost canopy, which has resulted in the use of tree-like designs to mimic natural form. As consumers become accustom to concrete surroundings, the incorporation of faux foliage signifies an acceptance of urban lifestyles and manufactured versions of nature.
