May 2017 packaging trends reveal the increase in more creative products that require packaging, as well as eco-friendly products that have traditionally been harmful to the environment.
One such example is the company Evers & Tochter Manufaktur, which makes candied flowers and chocolates, and enlisted the creative agency Micie to design the packaging for its delicate food products. The resulting boxes are able to show off the elegantly designed desserts through a circular transparent material on their lids.
The brand Lush is known for its cosmetic products that are most often natural and eco-friendly, and it decided to incorporate its environmentally conscious purpose into the way it packages its products as well. The brand now ships its cosmetic products with packing peanuts that are completely biodegradable in water and soil.
