Niche pop-up shops, unusual subscriptions and health-conscious loyalty programs are the most interesting patterns from the June 2014 business trends.
Today, custom subscription services are being utilized by a surplus of businesses across various industries to meet niche consumer needs. From meat subscriptions to washing machine rentals and even mystery gifting subscriptions, there is a wide selection of programs to meet varying consumer needs.
In an effort to encourage positive behavior, many businesses are providing nontraditional incentives. Russian bank Alfa-Bank introduced a program that rewards its customers with money whenever they engage in physical activity. The more movement the app monitors, the more money is deposited into a special savings account.
