My Crazy Pop Shop in Paris Specializes in Gourmet Popcorn
Laura McQuarrie — May 10, 2014 — Lifestyle
My Crazy Pop is a Parisian concept store dedicated entirely to making gourmet popcorn. 15 unique varieties are of sweet and savory flavors are offered, including caramel pepper, coconut, parmesan, wasabi, and pistachio. The ideas for these unusual popcorn flavors were cooked up by My Crazy Pop founder Christel Leflaive and Nathalie Nguyen, a finalist of the Masterchef show in 2011.
In addition to all of the crazy flavors, the "popshop" makes their popcorn in a unique way that uses no oil and GMO-free corn that amounts to a light pop that contains only 22 calories per 100g.
If you happen to be in Paris, the gourmet popcorn shop would be a great place to buy gifts, stock up on unusual snacks or even pop in and sample a few of the popcorn flavors.
