Christy Turlington, Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista and Claudia Schiffer are the original stunning supermodels-they didn’t coin the term but they did make it famous. Subsequent members of the stunning ‘supermodels’ club include Kate Moss, Heidi Klum and Gisele Bundchen.
Schiffer once stated that in order to be considered a stunning supermodels one had to "be on all the covers all over the world at the same time" so that their face and name could be recognized the world over.
Up and comers like Daria Werbowy, Natalia Vodianova, Sasha Pivovarova, Raquel Zimmerman, Lara Stone and Caroline Trentini while popular have yet to become stunning supermodels and household names.
