These are the most popular things people generally give up during Lent. If you don't know exactly what Lent is, it is when Christians remember and reflect on the time when Jesus spent 40 days and 40 nights fasting in the desert while being tempted by the devil. It begins on Ash Wednesday and you are suppose to give up something for 40 days and 40 nights to experience what Jesus went through in some way or another.
Personally, I won't be giving up anything for Lent this year, instead I will become more active and involved in eating healthy, going to the gym and just generally cutting out bad food. The most popular things to give up during Lent usually involve food, which can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on what it is.
