My name is Jennifer Paul and I am currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Public Relations Program at Conestoga College. I am in my fourth year of study. What is unique that's not in your bio?
I wouldn't say that I have a defining hobby, I find it hard to choose between being a foodie and an online shopaholic.
What's your favorite accomplishment?
My favourite accomplishment is being able to take what I have learned throughout my post secondary education and use it in real world situations. I am able to see that my hard work has paid off.
How do you define cool?
Something that is unique and innovative. In my opinion, for something to be cool it should have a personal touch of your individuality so that no one else can replicate it. If everyone is the same than it is no longer cool.
What is your secret to uncovering trends?
I like to look for interesting things that would make people think or leave a lasting impression. You want your audience to take something away and remember the trend, not just skim through it.
What do you enjoy most about Trend Hunter?
I love that there's something for everyone on the website. It is not tailored to any specific audience or group of people.
What is your favorite trend?
I really enjoy the DIY trends. I always like to look for new ways to make something unique or creative out of what I already have. As well, I enjoy any trend related to food.
What are your tips for writing a juicy post?
I like to look for things that will stand out in the post, whether it be a catchy tagline or picture. I personally think that the headline will determine whether or not someone will read the post.
How do you reset to be creative?
I just think about what I like and what I would want to see or design. I come up with these crazy thoughts and ideas and try to make them come to life in some way or another.
What inspires or excites you?
I get excited when something creates a positive emotion in myself and others. I get inspired by what I know would make people happy. I try to keep the excitement by continuously changing little things about my life so I never get bored.
Predict something awesome for 2020?
The modern day car will come equipped with more and more features in the base models. People will have more elaborate and various accessories to choose from than we do now. They may even hover... you never know.
