This High School Student Wrote an Essay About Ramen Noodles

This ramen essay got one high school student into college. Who would have thought a love for something so simple would be the reason why you are continuing your studies? A high school student from Fuzhou, in the Fujian province of China, decided to write his college application letter about his life events that steered him to love ramen.
He states, "I tried the noodles during my trip to the country, and my whole worldview changed the moment I ate it." To date he has tried almost all flavors of noodles from Asian brands. His ramen essay has landed him a spot at the University of Rochester.
