Rainbow-colored items have exploded in recent years. Rainbows have been infused in everything from food, fashion and art. Art installations are incorporating the use of rainbow pragmatic coloring in the form of string art, light reflecting and paint splatters. There is even a small device that one can set up in any room to propriate a rainbow across the walls at night. Unfortunately, there is no leprechaun at the end of this digital rainbow.
World Pride Week, created by the LGBT community, uses a rainbow flag as an emblem to the cause. That symbol has spread to the creation of rainbow colored items to symbolize the LGBT community. Homemade recipes have expanded greatly in this area, with the creation of rainbow oreos, rainbow layered cakes and multi-colored fashions.
