A San Francisco Burger King location is making waves by selling a gay pride burger titled the Proud Whopper. This burger comes fittingly wrapped in a technicolor rainbow burger wrapper in support of LGBTQ.
The Proud Whopper was first released at Burger King in celebration of San Francisco's pride last week. Burger King cleverly replaced its standard white Whopper wrapper with a chromatic colored one inspired by gay pride rainbow logo. Overtop is a white label with the words 'The Proud Whopper' printed in a brown font. The technicolor burger wrapper hopes to bring awareness to gay pride while simultaneously embracing all forms of love between people. While the Burger King Whopper packaging seems different, the Whopper inside remains the same.
