Top 65 Social Good Trends in May

From Inclusive Festival Shoots to Marginalized Voice Databases:

These May 2018 social good trends encompass a variety of conscious initiatives that aim to make a positive difference in the world.

In order to raise awareness of the harmful experiences that many women face outside of Planned Parenthood locations at the hands of overzealous protesters, a VR initiative was created that shows how manipulative and terrible it can be to be on the other end of it. The initiative is called 'Across the Line VR,' and allows users to see what it's like to be swarmed by protesters in a stressful situation, highlighting the need for more regulation to protect staff and patients at these clinics.

Also highlighted is the truthful drug education program that was implemented by a US school in place of the dated and highly ineffective DARE program. In order to get a better understanding of the effectiveness of the Drug Policy Alliance curriculum and to see how it's received by students and parents, the school featured a trial class for 14 and 15 year olds.
