Unhoused Individuals-Supporting Initiatives

Thrive Causemetics & Beauty 2 the Streetz Parttner

The cosmetic brand Thrive Causemetics and the nonprofit organization Beauty 2 The Streetz joined forces to run a large-scale volunteer event on Giving Tuesday at a college campus in Long Beach. The activity involved a team of brand representatives, beauty professionals, and community advocates who provided meals, distributed hygiene kits, and conducted a makeup tutorial for more than a thousand individuals experiencing homelessness. Notable participants included Ayesha Perry, Erica Taylor, and Zaina Sesay.

Karissa Bodnar, Founder + CEO of Thrive Causemetics®, confirmed: “This initiative is about much more than beauty. s we celebrate a decade of impact, we reflect on the power that community can create when we show up for one another.”

The partnership between Thrive Causemetics and Beauty 2 The Streetz is long-standing. The beauty company has contributed over one and a half million dollars in monetary and product donations to the nonprofit since 2017.
