In preparation for the 2016 US Presidential Election, brands across the world have been taking part in making sure their voices are heard, whether they are offering commentary or simply encouraging Americans to take advantage of their power to vote.
A number of election-themed stunts have been created that encourage the public to "vote" on favorite desserts, pizzas or burgers offer some representation of Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump.
Since many Americans have been claiming that they will be making the move to Canada should Donald Trump be elected President of the United States in 2016, many brands have been quick to support this notion. For instance, Air Canada set up a campaign that targets Americans and invites them to 'Test Drive Canada,' while a site like 'Maple Match' humorously offers to help American citizens find Canadian dates.
