An Oregon Food Truck Sells Baloney Sandwiches That Fact Check Trump Comments

The Wieden + Kennedy advertising agency in Portland, Oregon set up a political food truck that serves "Donald Trump's BS," which stands for baloney sandwiches with wrappers that fact check statements Trump has made during his campaign.

Wieden + Kennedy picked Portland to debut its sandwiches because it is considered the "mecca of food cart culture," and therefore was the best place to serve sandwiches that informed the consumer and potential voter, of Trump's inaccurate remarks.

The food truck offers eight custom-designed sandwich wrappers that contain five different types of baloney sandwiches. The sandwiches are named "Working-Class Hero", "Middle-Class Hero", "America-First Hero", "Border-Security Hero" and "Tell-It-Like-It-Is". While the sandwiches were free, the food truck was quite opulent. A concierge took the consumer's order and relayed it to the chef, while the menus were printed on gold-colored paper.
