13 Edible Furniture Designs

These edible furniture designs look just like the many faux-food furniture designs on the market, but they are actually made of food products. Tables and chairs call for structural support, and what better way to get it than from a hardened piece of stale bread?

Because they need to be hardened, furniture that is constructed of food is no longer safely edible. These experiments play with interesting ways to use the qualities of food for furniture, like coffee beans in a bean bag chair. 

Although some of these creations are no longer edible, some are designed to be eaten. For example, the lounger completely made out of chocolate cake uses the glossy sheen of icing to replicate the leather of upholstery.
