Transparent Bean Bag Furniture

Shayan Ramesht Designs a Sustainable Bean Bag Structure

The Transparent Bean Bag is a unique piece of furniture that is designed with a captivating look and sustainable build. It was created by Shayan Ramesht and is just as the namesake suggests. The concept is to have a classic bean bag but also coat it with a clear plastic material to bring attention to the contents inside.

There are two notions that back up the design. The first is the idea of using recycled materials and the second is to optimize the raw aesthetic of the materials. The team used excess foam collected from a furniture shop to fill the bag and reduce the overall cost of production. Usually, the outer section takes up the attention but this time, it is the contents inside the bag.
