Designer Elena Prokhorova designs the new Brace Lounge Chair, which can be simply described as a beanbag that is framed by an exoskeleton. The concept aims to give some structure to the bag-like chair with a metal armature that functions as the 'brace.'
It wraps around the back and base of the chair, complete with harness straps that hold it all in place. The inspiration stems from the 'effortless style' of the urban 'sweller' as it fuses both form and function into its designs. The soft seating is connected to the frame and to operate the silhouette, the user sits down and pulls the belt or harness around the back of the frame and secures it in place with a carabiner.
