Liam De La Bedoyere Designs the Mini Monsieur Concept

— May 26, 2026 — Art & Design
Designer Liam de la Bedoyere developed Mini Monsieur as a character-based furniture concept combining a stool and side table within a compact sculptural form. The project was created as a personal work for boredeye.design and features a rounded cobalt-blue body with asymmetrical arm forms supporting a circular tray surface. Embossed curved brow details appear beneath the flat upper section, while the raised arm functions as an integrated tabletop element.

Mini Monsieur combines seating and storage functions within a single molded structure sized for everyday residential use. The elevated tray surface holds small objects including books, phones, and glassware without increasing the furniture footprint. Rendered visuals show the piece paired with upholstered seating and positioned as a compact side table beside lounge furniture. De la Bedoyere limited the facial detailing to embossed brows and arm positioning without adding eyes or mouth features.
