From donut-flavored jelly beans to cocktail-flavored kettle chips, these oddly flavored snacks showcase the wide variety of experimental food options for fans of pushing flavor boundaries. Often taking a familiar flavor and reinterpreting it in a similarly familiar yet opposing format, these products highlight the role of novelty purchases in snacking, particularly for the millennial generation, and larger than that, anyone inclined to make purchasing decisions with consideration of social media sharing.

A great example of such an oddly flavored snack is the limited edition ramen-inspired Pringles potato chips. The perfectly viral combination of ramen and snack culture, the ramen Pringles are covetable given their novel nature and their exclusivity, given the limited edition nature of the release.
