In the past, Akagi Nyugyo has released a variety of novelty Gari Gari Kun flavored popsicles that taste like everything from spaghetti to cream puffs. Now, an all-new frozen dessert treat is being launched for the summer that is said to have the taste of "rare cheese," or as it is known in Japan, unbaked cream cheese.

The creamy texture and taste of the cheese-flavored popsicles are said to be comparable to a chilled cheesecake on a stick, which offer a delightful way to beat the summer heat. To further the treat's likeness to a cheesecake dessert, the inside of the popsicle includes a zesty lemon sauce, which rounds out the sweetness of the popsicle with a slightly tangy flavor.
