Top 100 Makeup Trends in 2013

From Molten Makeup to Fashion Addict Tutorials:

Offsetting a more conservative silhouette in designer clothing, makeup trends in 2013 brought bold, expressive looks to the forefront. Intricate eye makeup and extreme lips, such as the eyeball-inspired pout, were not only seen more on runways and in photo shoots, but on the streets, as YouTube tutorials still held a prominent place among the most important cosmetics trends.

Last year's androgyny was replaced by hyper-girly, borderline Barbie-like looks, as seen in the Mod doll editorial or seasonal hyper-floral styling. Dark, Goth-inspired looks served as relief from the ultra-feminine. Winter standards of near-black lips, statement brows and minimal skin were paired with wet, almost-molten eyes, creating the ultimate femme fatale look.
