MAC Cosmetics is Reviving MACzine, Digitally, for a New Generation

— January 29, 2026 — Marketing
MAC Cosmetics' internal seasonal magazine for MAC Artists, MACzine, which ran from 2009 to 2017, is officially making a comeback in 2026 as a digital revival.

In an Instagram post, Nicola Formichetti, Global Creative Director of MAC, shared a first editor’s letter, detailing MACzine as a creative playground, a means of experimentation and bringing daring ideas to life. "As the world shifts and bold, confident make-up makes its return, this feels like the perfect time to bring it back," said Formichetti, "It's time to have fun with makeup again."

The first issue of the digitally relaunched MACzine for all ages, all races and all genders is perfectly set up to make a comeback at a time when expressive, maximalist makeup is making a resurgence.
