Summer is officially here and, as the July 2023 beverage trends demonstrate, so are the fruitiest, most colorful, most exciting drinks of the year.
With temperatures rising and consumers looking for something cool and refreshing, many brands up the drink ante over the summer. Boba is one way brands are adding intrigue to their drinks this year, with brands like Piada Italian Street Food adding a Mango Sunburst Fresca drink infused with mango sunburst popping bubbles. Another way brands are creating excitement is by giving lemonade – a summer staple – a modern makeover. For instance, Häagen-Dazs Shops just added the new Strawberry Frozen Lemonade and new Raspberry Frozen Lemonade, which are both made with Häagen-Dazs real-fruit dairy-free sorbets.
Of course, sometimes fresh ingredients aren't even necessary to capture consumers' attention. One of the highlights from the July 2023 beverage trends is McDonald's new Grimace Shake, which has soared in popularity thanks to some creative TikToks.
