Top 60 Social Good Ideas in April

From Feminist Playing Cards to Gun Control Video Games:

From International Women's Day to the Parkland shootings, the April 2018 social good trends reveal that consumers are ready and willing to stand up and fight for what they believe in.

While many big brands were quick to celebrate International Women's Day, there were a number of grassroots projects that truly captured public attention. For instance, the design publication Dezeen launched a gender equality initiative called Move the Needle to advocate for greater representation of women in the architecture and design fields. Similarly, the entertainment company Mudpuppy created a set of Little Feminist playing cards to help educate children about great women throughout history.

Beyond gender issues, consumers also rallied around the issue of gun control in the wake of the Parkland shootings. One example from the April 2018 social good trends is a video game called Game For Our Lives, which was created by a team of artists and developers to raise awareness for the March For Our Lives.
