Designs From the Runways of New York, London, Milan and Paris

 - Oct 8, 2011
Now that my favorite time of the year has come and gone, it’s a great time to take a look back at the Spring 2012 collections of New York, London, Milan and Paris Fashion Week.

The four fashion capitals presented audiences, members of the fashion elite and fashion lovers all over the world with some truly memorable collections. From Gareth Pugh’s caged in, futuristic designs in Paris to Miuccia Prada’s pretty, feminine looks in Milan, Spring 2012 was a great season for inspiring, fresh fashion.

Who could forget Marchesa’s gorgeous tulle-obsessed evening gowns or Kanye West’s debut women’s line in Paris? Burberry branched out this season and focused less on outerwear and their infamous trench coats, and presented a collection of incredibly wearable ensembles.

Finally, Spring 2012 ended with a bang in Paris with Chanel’s pearl-adorned collection, Miu Miu’s dark and moody atmosphere and some stunning, red carpet-ready evening gowns at Elie Saab.

The most famous designers in the world definitely stepped up their game for their Spring 2012 collections and audiences took note. Click through this list and relive the excitement.
