The Gianfranco Ferre Spring 2012 Collection is Crisp and Clean

Back in April, Gianfranco Ferre designer duo Tommaso Aquilano and Roberto Rimondi were asked to leave the brand and were replaced with Stefano Citron and Federico Piaggi, who designed the Gianfranco Ferre Spring 2012 collection. Therefore, it was more than a little symbolic that the Spring collection was crisp, clean and featured a lot of all white clothing. In more ways than one, the fashion house is starting with a clean slate.

The Gianfranco Ferre Spring 2012 collection is undeniably simple and stunning. Citron and Piaggi claimed in the show's notes that the collection was inspired by and created for "a free, sensual, determined woman."

All-white ensembles were given a futuristic feel thanks to the sleek silhouette created by cinching each piece with a belt. The neutral-focused collection was updated with rare punches of magenta, giving it a sharp, modern feel.
