Trend Hunter covered a lot of credit crunch ideas in 2013. Most notably, there were many infographics published on the financial state of entrepreneurs, businesses, salaries and virtual currency. The visual representation of these complex issues gave the general public a better understanding of finance in a variety of categories.
Other ideas covered ranged from tools that encouraged frugal lifestyle choices to hotels made out of shipping containers and a variety of DIY furniture revamping projects. It seems that since the recession hit, consumers are still suffering the consequences of an economic downturn.
