Top 100 Art & Design Trends in March

From Space-Saving Modular Sofas to Alien Planet Tiny Homes:

The March 2022 art and design trends were marked most notably by new sustainability-focused architecture, innovations in tech wearables, and the release of numerous one-of-a-kind modular designs. Silos were repurposed into homes, wearable medication injectors were introduced, and several startups found new ways to reimagine the home and/or workspace via compact, customizable furniture.

For example, Xylo released the Living Modular Furniture System designed to provide customers living in apartments with a comprehensive furniture set-up that can be assembled without tools. Meanwhile, designer Nick Potter introduced the Flez 2 Sofa, a customizable and foldable furniture solution for the modern home.

Elsewhere, a number of modular solutions were specifically targeted towards the new at-home worker. For example, designer Moke Zikie debuted the Rune Modular Table, a work desk built to provide customers with complete control of its configuration via a magnetic socket and control panel system.
