The Aire modular sofa is a design by Spanish design duo Ramos+Bassols made for Prostoria. It boasts a unique structure as it looks like it is just floating above floor hence the namesake. The Aire looks like it is a weightless design with a slightly raised and evenly spaced design, made with precision to give off these visuals.

Ramos+Bassols explains, “If we had to describe Aire in one word, it would be freedom—freedom to adapt, freedom to stretch out, freedom in composition. It is a sofa designed for versatility." The negative space under the frame is subtle so that when the base is exposed to support the modular components, it can be easily configured to adjust the layout.
