From 'Spectacle' Scuba Masks to Sponsored AR Lenses

Providing a bevy of campaign inspirations as well as an updated guide on the company's expansion into eyewear, these recent Snapchat innovations highlight the fast-evolving nature of the social platform in a time when its most unique features see challenges from the likes of Instagram and other competitors.

In a unique partnership, Snapchat and Royal Caribbean Cruises have released the SeaSeekers, a scuba mask with Snapping capabilities. A sea-faring version of Snapchat's Spectacles, released in late 2016, the SeaSeekers are currently being tested with the hopes that they can soon be made available to passengers aboard Royal Caribbean ships.

Separately, Bacardi and Major Lazer sought out Snapchat and its massive user base to crowdsource footage for their latest music video. The Bacardi x Major Lazer Snapchat lenses was made available for 24 hours, with fans asked to save and send their clips for a chance to be included in the upcoming video.
