Anyone interested in securing a job at McDonald's restaurants in Australia can apply directly through Snapchat thanks to the Snaplications filter.
Just like with other filters on the app, Snaplications overlays users with images. In this case, that image is the McDonald's staff uniform, to allow users to more thoroughly engage with the application. They can submit a 10-second video to McDonald's Australia with that filter, and this serves as the preliminary round of the job application. Those who make it through will then be contacted for an in-person interview.
According to the COO of McDonald's Australia, the company is looking for people with a "bubbly personality."
