From Salt Flats Photography to Ethereal Barren Landscapes

Although hot, arid deserts can be seen as extremely harsh places, these desert photography series point out some of the beauty of the natural landscapes. Although trees, plants and animal life are pretty scarce in these photos, the large expanses of sky and sand are pretty interesting on their own.
In addition to photos snapped for the purposes of art, there are several editorials that are set in the dry desert. As well as giving off an instantly hot and summery vibe, the lack of distracting elements in the background really makes colorful Spring and Summer fashions pop. Although color can really be played up in the desert, some of these photos go for an achromatic scheme that bring a darker tone to the desert.
