The Babes of Borrego Word Press blog documents female bikers who almost put Sons of Anarchy to shame. The female motorcycle gatherings were inspired by Instagram posts and emails from females who wanted a mutual meeting spot for motorcycle enthusiasts.

The first Babes of Borrego meeting in an Arizona desert brought out an astounding 51 bikers. The founders of the blog Ashmore Bodiford and her friend Anya state “we never expected over 50 motorcycles to show up. We never expected girls to come out from New York, Portland, Phoenix, Reno, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, and more. We never expected it to be this much fun.”

The Babes of Borrego blog’s large cult-like following shows that there is a market for female motorcycle enthusiasts. The rad female bikers don’t just ride motorcycles out to meeting spots—they do bad-ass bike tricks.
