Reuben Wu photographs the Atacama desert in his editorial as he explores the driest place on the Earth. Wu states that: "The light is spectacular once the sun sets, and in the dead of night becomes a sublime playground..."

The Atacama desert is located in Chile as the setting sun allows mountains and trees to glow under its red rays. One of the photos shows a giant sculpture of a hand, located in the middle of the desert, made entirely of sand. Wispy clouds hang over the ground that has been deprived of water for so long. Another photo shows vibrant red trees scattered around the rocky ridges of mountains.

The editorial makes nature look like an artist's masterpiece as colors and lighting play off of one another to create marvelous effects in the photos.
