Redesigned Desert Homes

A Palm Springs Residence is Redesigned with Art at Its Core

The Palm Springs residence has been entirely reimagined around the clients’ extensive art collection, letting the works shape rather than follow the interior. Freudenberger Design Studio opted for a restrained palette and minimal architectural changes, allowing the structure itself to support the art’s presence. Soft, neutral backgrounds and adjustable layouts give the collection space to shift with the owners’ vision.

Furniture, lighting, and finishes take a subtle role, carefully chosen to support daily life without redirecting attention. Natural light is framed through generous glazing and minimal window treatments so that both sunrise and dusk become part of the display. Materials evoke warmth and tactility without heavy gestures, creating an environment that feels gallery-like yet wholly livable.
