Spring has officially sprung, and as the 2023 April food trends suggest, classic spring flavors are back in a big way.
Berries – perhaps the most classic spring flavor of them all – are a star ingredient this month with many brands leaning into blueberry and raspberry flavors. For instance, Royal Hollandia just debuted a lineup of premium spring cheeses, which includes a fruity new Very Berry Goat option. And over at Trader Joe's, one of this month's featured products is the new Blueberry & Lemon Hand Pies, which offer the delicious taste of fresh blueberries in the form of a flaky turnover.
Of course, berries are not the only spring flavor in the spotlight. As the 2023 April food trends suggest, lemon is also in high demand. And with seasonal products like Frosted Lemon Cheerios and GOOD GOOD's new Vegan Lemon Curd, there are plenty of ways for consumers to get their lemon fix.
