I am normally against the destruction of books, but I think I'll let my desire to protect the written word slide when it comes to all of these intricate examples of book art. Book art is a relatively new form of art that involves carvings, sculptures, paintings and drawings created using books.

My favorite out of all of these intricate examples of book art has to be the book carvings. Book carvings have been around for awhile, but every time I see a new one, I am amazed nonetheless.
