Bookless Bookstores

The Audible Story House Features Tiles to Sample Audiobooks

The Audible Story House is set to open its doors in New York City in May, and the limited-time destination for audiobook lovers will operate as a "bookless bookstore." This pop-up space will be equipped with "story tiles" for sampling audiobooks, as well as comfortable listening spaces featuring Sony headphones and Dolby Atmos surround sound.

The community hub and listening lounge will be free to enter and open to the public, inviting people in the city to discover best-selling titles across popular genres like romantasy and true crime, as well as other audio offerings from Audible, such as podcasts. This physical bridge to the digital listening brings tactility and community back to solo listening experiences.
