Created to celebrate Penguin Books’ 90th anniversary, the collaboration combines the publisher’s literary history with MOEBE’s functional Scandinavian design language. The stand allows a book to remain open at a specific page without folding corners, inserting bookmarks, or applying pressure to the spine. Its restrained form keeps visual attention on the book while remaining stable during use.

Made from a single piece of bent metal, the stand relies on negative space and a subtle lower lip to secure pages in place. It can be used alone for active reading or paired to function as bookends on a shelf. The piece is available in stainless steel and powder-coated finishes, including black, sand, and Penguin’s signature orange. Its compact footprint makes it suitable for desks, bedside tables, kitchens, or shelving.
