While the September 2021 business trends span an impressive range of industries and boast a variety of innovative new ventures, there is a notable theme within this month's collection. In commerce, retail, art, sports, healthcare, and more, company's new and old appear to be eagerly embracing the new, virtual frontier.

Commerce-oriented metaverse company Highstreet secured major funding to build its virtual world of retail experiences, while Atari announced the launch of its crypto casino, which will be accessible via 'Decentraland' -- a fully virtual metaverse platform. Moreover, VUELE premiered the first-ever Hollywood feature film to be delivered solely as an NFT, while Method Man tokenized a variety of hip-hop legends.
