Teamviewer, a global provider of remote access and remote control technology maintenance software, has partnered with Jamf, an IT admin system designed specifically for Macs, iPhones, iPads, and Apple TVs. As a result of the partnership, Teamviewer will now be natively integrated into Jamf Pro, providing the company with a unique opportunity to offer its remote connectivity solutions to Apple users.
Jam Pro users will now be able to turn on 'TeamViewer Tensor' to receive remote assistance when faced with a tech-related problem. Once activated, TeamViewer will control, manage, monitor, and repair a user's device depending on their specific needs. If "remote control" is utilized, users will even watch as IT personnel take control of their devices and resolve their issues in real-time.
Upgrading a company's IT solutions to a platform like Teamviewer seems like a reasonable business decision considering millions of companies have made the switch to work-from-home business models. "Our customers can now intuitively remotely access and manage employee and student devices from anywhere in the world," said Josh Jagdfeld, senior director of product marketing at Jamf.
