ECCO Has Launched One-Of-A-Kind Flagship Store in Shanghai

High-end footwear brand ECCO has unveiled its new flagship store in Shanghai China. The immersive 442 meter-squared space is, in part, a contemporary art installation designed by Hong Designworks -- a company that used the opportunity to construct a 'Metropolitan Dreamland' that blends dimensions and challenges the relationship between people and objects.

The store intends to combine ideas about technology, comfort, and innovation, to create a unique retail experience that merges reality with fantasy. Shoppers move through the store, checking out ECCO's latest sneakers, which are showcased in between various art pieces. A standout artwork included in the store is a suspended feather-like sculpture made from transparent leather.

No doubt, Hong Designworks has created a retail experience that is unlike any other. One that will likely become a major attraction for urban consumers, especially considering the store's prime location in the heart of Shanghai's commercial district.
