Atari has announced that it will launch an interactive cryptocurrency casino that will be accessible within Decentral Games' Metaverse, 'Decentraland.' The casino. which will resemble an old-school arcade, will be located in 'Vegas City,' a virtual gaming area within the 'Decentraland' where users can interact, play games, and make bets with cryptocurrencies.
Although 'Decentraland' is a fully virtual metaverse platform, the Atari casino will operate much like a traditional one. Users will engage in a variety of casino and lottery games, waging their own money in hopes of cashing out big. The difference, however, is that the platform will not use traditional fiat currency. According to the company utilizing cryptocurrency should be more secure because the system's betting logic will be stored in blockchain, preventing any kind of rigging.
