From Modernized Adventure Vehicles to IoT Car Gadgets
Cars are changing, and these gifts for gearheads reflect that gradual evolution. Even the very term gearhead reflects what cars once represented. Those serious about cars were obsessed with motors, which are themselves symbols of the gas-powered era that many are trying to escape. Cars have split into two areas: the modern, tech-laden vehicle that features AI and efficient energy sources, and on the other end the ultra-rugged vehicles that provide an experience.
Technological vehicles have been discussed at length, but the shift to outdoorsy vehicles in interesting in light of modern driving. Where once driving itself was viewed as a pleasurable activity, today many have trouble squaring that simple pleasure with the negative environmental impact.
