Revived Muscle Car Concepts

The Pontiac Firebird Concept Brings the Iconic Coupe Back to Life

Before you get too excited over this Pontiac Firebird concept, know that it's not an official design. It was actually created by Russian designer Kasim Tlibekov. The Firebird may be long dead, but that didn't stop Tlibekov from imagining what it would look like if made today. This will please the many muscle car fans who mourned Pontiac's passing. The Pontiac Firebird concept is rendered in two styles. The first is as a normal mass-produced muscle car, while the second is a drag-ready monster.

Both designs share a muscular hood and flared rear wheel arches. The Pontiac Firebird concept has a bulbous rear end that suggests its designed for straight-line power, not tackling tough corners. GM currently has no plans to revive Pontiac or the Firebird, which means Tlibekov's concept car will likely stay just that, a concept.
