100 Shire-Inspired Tributes

For those of you eagerly awaiting The Hobbit 3 Trailer, The Battle of the Five Armies preview shows what to expect from the last installment of Peter Jackson's Hobbit trilogy. While book purists aren't quite as keen on the lengthened version of the classic tale from J.R.R. Tolkien, the epic quality of the films cannot be dismissed.

This Middle Earth themed tributes are in honor of the recently released The Hobbit 3 trailer. Many are focused on architecture inspired by Hobbit holes and Shire-like interpretations, such as miniature fantasy film abodes or dugout hillside houses. Others are actual products, including novel scented candles, fantasy inspired wobbling toys and 3D paper dragon sculptures. There is some crossover between The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings as well, given they take place in the same world.
