IKEA Australia is celebrating the highly anticipated film A Minecraft Movie launching soon with a pixelated change. Some of the brand's most iconic pieces have been reimagined in a form similar to the game's aesthetic. It celebrates the low-res look of the video game and IKEA showcased the looks on social media.
The renderings include designs including the 'KALLAX' shelving unit, the 'STRANDMON' armchair, and the signature 'MALM' chest of drawers. All of these are refined in a sharp and modular line which reflects Minecraft's style. Other details include the pricing, which is also altered in the same style as the video game, with simplified color palettes as well. It is a great celebration of the upcoming movie.
